Over the past few years, I have had good friends of mine tell me to try a carnivore lifestyle.
And of course, I said "no" because it doesn't align with me morally.
So I continue going in the direction of plant based.
So I say to myself "self, what if they knew something?"
I mean they literally work in restorative nutrition, hormone balancing, functional medicine etc. AND, they are all skinny with long hair and great skin.
So I start looking for more doctors who are talking about this, and more case studies and my mind is kind of blown right now.
But it is starting to make sense:
I decided to jump in and try it for me. And see what happened.
Well, what happened was:
Plants do not. Not only do they NOT have 100% of what we need, the little they do have isn't bioavailable and can be very harmful to us.
And of course, I said "no" because it doesn't align with me morally.
So I continue going in the direction of plant based.
- I eat raw fruits like crazy.
- I eat organic fruits and veggies.
- I eat Asian style sautéed greens and stir fry like my again doctor taught me.
- I eat whole foods.
- I eat natural foods.
- I don't use toxins, additives etc.
- I don't eat sugar.
- I make my own toiletries.
- I only drink/use spring water in 5 gallon glass bottles.
- I sleep well.
- I am not stressed.
- I make my own cashew cream.
- I got away from most dairy and meat.
- I eat wild fish and seafood.
- I don't eat grocery food if I can help it.
- I do pretty well.. but something isn't right.
- 18 months ago I was 119lbs and looking fabulous.
- I am losing my vision.
- I have tinnitus.
- Lyme is off the chart.
- I cannot get out of bed in the morning due to severe pain in feet from tarsal tunnel, plantar fasciitis.
- I sleep too much at night.
- I'm seeing stars now.
- My hip hurts. Everything hurts.
- My face changed.
- My skin is dry and bleeding.
- My periods stopped.
- For hundreds of thousands of years, we relied on meat. Wooly mammoths etc. Plant based is new to the human world.
- We don't crave kale, we crave a big juicy steak.
- We can't possibly eat all the fruits and vegetables we are told that's why we started juicing them.
- So many people are gluten intolerant.
- Animals eat plants and we eat animals.
- Animals have tons of nutrients that we need.
- The cabal is pushing plant based meat.
- Eve got Adam in trouble for eating a plant. (haha, I just thought that was funny)
I decided to jump in and try it for me. And see what happened.
Well, what happened was:
- I felt amazing by day 2.
- 90% of my pain was gone by day 3.
- I started losing weight. Without any exercise.
- My body composition started to change. My muscles started to come back.
- I didn't need to sleep as much.
- I had zero brain fog.
- I gained a lot of energy.
- I started finding others who already knew this information.
- I started seeing the MINDBOGGLING results from others.
Plants do not. Not only do they NOT have 100% of what we need, the little they do have isn't bioavailable and can be very harmful to us.
- Most parasite infections come from unwashed plants.
- Plants cause oxalates.
- Plants have built in defense toxins so they don't get eaten.
The conclusion that I and many others have realized:
Plants are for medicine, animals are for food.

The Great Plant-Based Con: Why eating a plants-only diet won't improve your health or save the planet
"Plant-based is best for health", "go vegan to help save the planet", "eat less meat"... Almost every day we are bombarded with the seemingly incontrovertible message that we must reduce our consumption of meat and dairy - or eliminate them from our diets altogether.
But what if the pervasive message that the plant-based diet will improve our health and save the planet is misleading - or even false? What if removing animal foods from our diet is a serious threat to human health, and a red herring in the fight against climate change. THE GREAT PLANT-BASED CON is neither anti-plant nor anti-vegan - it is a call for us to take an honest look at the facts about human diets and their effect on the environment. Shocking and eye-opening, this book outlines everything you need to know to make more informed decisions about the food you choose to eat. |
LMNT Keto Electrolyte Powder Packets | Paleo Hydration Powder | No Sugar | Variety Pack | 12 PacksWhy I like it: Could I get the same potassium and magnesium in Celtic salt? Sure, but not exact levels. AND, since going carnivore might feel limiting at times, I get to taste something more than just water. It's the cleanest "product" that my mentor suggests. I like this sample pack to try them out.
